The restaurant is a good brunch meet up spot on the VCU campus area with plenty of street parking. The prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of traditional and vegan friendly food options. Great for meet up gatherings, but they have a small dining and bar area to eat at. Friendly staff service.

I discovered 821 cafe on a Facebook group about restaurants in Richmond when I queried vegan restaurants in the area.. it was highly recommended and definitely did NOT disappoint. We had divine “chicken” wings, vegan chili and a really delicious salad. I only took one picture though- but we will definitely be coming ... back! I want to try it all! The service was very attentive. They offer a wide selection of draft beers, including the IPA I had, which was excellent. The food was, of course, delicious and very fairly priced. Highly recommended!
